Rotarian Rahul Shrivastava, born on 9th April, in Gwalior, M.P epitomises the phrase : Work hard, be kind, and amazing things will happen. 

Commencing his student life in Morar government school, he was a scholar throughout his school days. His meritorious journey continued with him getting into the Electrical engineering branch in MITS, Gwalior. 

His inner drive and passion for teaching started at the early age of 18. And, he successfully became one of the stalwarts in the educational space of Gwalior, wherein he first taught Physics for 30+ years for engineering and medical competitive examinations and is currently heading two CBSE based schools in Gwalior. 

Having been associated with Rotary since , he has served the organisation in various capacities. He held the office of the President of Rotary club Birlanagar for two years (2010-11,2011-12), then became the Charter president of Rotary Club Laurels in 2013.  He was chosen to be the Assistant Governor of 3053 district in year 2014, for which he later received Best Assistant Governor award in 2015. He also organised a memorable District Assembly in Agra in 2015 as Chairman of District Assembly. Further, he has also been appointed as the District Chairman(Vocational Services, 2015-16), District Chairman(New Generation Service Exchange, 2018-19) and as District Chairman(Interact, 2019-20). He also became major donor in rotary club in the year 2018-19.

Apart from Rotary, Mr. Shrivastava has been involved in wide spectrum of roles in JCI including Zone Secretary of JCI Senior Member Association, Zone 6. Furthermore, he is the President of CBSE Pvt. school association, Gwalior from the last 7 years and maintains cordial relations with all it’s members.

Rtn. Rahul Shrivastava is married to Mrs. Archana Shrivastava who is director of Pragati Vidya Peeth School, Gwalior and is blessed with two sons Aagrah and Anugrah. Aagrah completed his engineering from BITS Pilani and has pursued his Masters in Management from UK. He looks after the newly setup school, Pragati It’s Different. Anugrah, his younger son is a multifaceted teenager who has already shown academic brilliances by securing AIR 30&33 in two prestigious Law entrance examination. He is studying in NLU Delhi .
